I share your non Dynafit foot. Like cracking macadamia nuts, trying to fit my foot into a Dynafit boot.

These are great boots for ski mountaineering but not for people with wide feet (think aussie kid who spent their formative years on the beach in bare feet) it may be possible to do a punch job but these boots are very narrow to start with. Try before before you buy.

Whats the difference between the mountain and the performance?

Tried this boot on in revvy after watching ski legend ruedi beglinger skip about in it all week. Very noice.

Performance has the carbon fibre cuff. Less weight and a bit stiffer.

And price. Surprisingly, the Performance isn't much lighter, Most difference in weight comes down to the CR vs CL liner. This example has the warmer CR liner. 1,202gr for one of the boots including tags, stickers and red insert seal on my kitchen scales.

Yeah mine have the CR liner and never really got cold feet - but I never went out in the real cold ie below -10c.

Be very careful doing this. Wont name names but recent experienced boot fitter used Salomon custom over on non Salomon boot and ended up with a pile of molten plastic. Well a slumped boot anywho!!!!

Seriously though, that is a fantastic price for these boots. A bargain waiting to be snapped up.
Unfortunately I skied with my Scarpa TX NTN Tele boots in the full Dynafit binding a few weeks ago and they were great, so I can't justify these TLT's ( even though I just sold the Rossi BC 125's yesterday)

Ah, yes, i did make it for a sneaky day out to test the new setup. Good conditions for it. Will keep my eyes peeled and say hello next time.
