Giant Hail? i was living in Paddington the night that massive hail storm devastated Sydneys eastern suburbs in April 1999. THAT was Giant Hail. im not seeing any destroyed cars, or houses with roofs caved in. or trees stripped bare of every leaf and small branch.

Yes, that 1999 storm was unbelievable. Hail stones the size of cricket balls. Total devastation.

I live on the Central Coast. Yes a big exaggeration on size, but the amount was astounding. Roof collapsed at Kmart Bateau Bay

My delightful abode apparently missed it all by one street.....kids were out watching it happen ...thank goodness as the last hail damage has only just been repaired.

Similar hail damage done to homes in Adelaide late yesterday afternoon. That hailstorm must be doing a national tour

Hail was millions of large pea size balls

That link to SMH leads to another poor piece of Journalism. In places, it was 12" deep.

I wouldn't. It is a mix of greys, toads, and westies....with some angry surfers thrown in with far less culture than a tub of yoghurt.

It's probably better than eight months of constant heat plus the risk of cyclones.

Most likely. This is Tuggerah Lake taken as the storm approached:

PS: I know it is not straight....appreciate everything thing I do these days is during tormenting pain....even my Morphine patch is simply doing nothing....so that is why it is crooked.

The missus sister lives in Muswellbrook and she would prefer that to be closer to her. She reckons the place is a s***hole though. Any truth in that?
