Ruined Castle Terrain Park, Bullet proof summit at the end of day is a classic (with its iconic chair lift [IMG] ), McKay, The Maze and Ropers(bit of a hike).

You won't find Ropers, McKay is the Kat tour and it should get going this year(you don't get to take full advantage of the runs out there unless you are there to hike, but its sill beautiful to get out of the resort and ski a great area with the tour). The Maze is probable the only area you would call "classic" but the summit is fun skiing , great when they leave it to get some bumps. I only said the terrain park cos its probable the best resort skiing Australia has to offer [IMG] . It really depends what level you are at.

So when will the McKay Kat skiing trips kick-off? Is it an issue of snow levels, or are they waiting for it to get a bit further into the season to get more people and interest??

Have never done, but very keen to give it a crack this season.

Its a snow depth requirement for the kat to drive on, the whole McKay kat thing only came about to show that Falls Creek could look after the McKay area to put lifts on it, so there are some regulations.

The Last Hoot for the final runs of the day were always fun. Fast and furious. Race time with your mates.

Secret spot x kinda place [IMG] , people do know it. It may even be out of the Falls Creek area boundary.

TJ I'm in total agreement... Last hoot was my favourite. As well as Shortcut/Bypass and Orys (depending which end of the village I was staying in)
