I have friends hiking the AAWT (left Tanjil on 22nd Oct) who have been impacted by the rain

"Does anyone know anyone who lives near Cabramurra? We are trying to find an option for a lift to Kiandra from near the Tooma Reservoir if we can't ford this river tomorrow."

Is there anyone who might be able to help 3 soggy hikers?

    There's someone here from Tumba-ish i think. @Kelpieboy maybe?
Still is a fair way up to cabramurra and travelling mountain roads this weekend is a bit dodgy

Yep, was hoping there just MIGHT be someone close by.
It's a long shot, but I figured it's worth trying.

Give KNP a ring...if fords are dangerous and you need to go around them .. they may be sympathetic and help you out....it's possible Tooma and Valentines and Geehi may be too high to Ford for a few days. The Tooma below Pretty Plain Hut can run fast and deep.
To get out by Wheelers Hut I think you need to cross the Tooma further downstream and it's faster and deeper by then.
Deresckos to Rnd Mt is a good way out of there....upper waters of Tooma should always be crossable. But Valentine and Geehi on the 4x4 track could be more than difficult. So you would go upstream to Mawsons across country towards Jugungal crossing headwaters of Valentine then Geehi easily then towards old track on ridge running east west before Mt J.Dodging all difficult fords and out to Rnd Mt Hut and Cabramurra Rd passing Deresckos
