The two resorts of Falls Creek and Hotham Alpine Resorts will again offer the heavily discounted Hero Season Pass for 2013.

2012 Hero pass holders will have access to the 2013 Hero Pass at the same low price of $699 for adults and $399 for children

The price freeze is also available to all 2012 Season Pass holders including Tertiary, Valley, Alpine and Spring Pass. That’s right, only $699 for adults and $399 for children.

New Heroes can join the club for $749 for adults and $429 for children. Those who pay the deposit at Falls Creek or Hotham on Monday 10 September – dressed as a Superhero – will also be eligible for the price freeze! Don the lycra, leather, wings or cape and join in the fun!

Hero pass holders can ski and board at both Falls Creek and Hotham resorts for unlimited days for winter 2013, giving more value each time a pass holder skis or rides.

“The Hero Pass was a phenomenal success providing amazing value to our guests,†says Michael Callahan GM Falls Creek, “and we are pleased to announce we are offering the Hero Pass for 2013.â€

To secure a 2013 Hero Pass, a deposit of only $199 for adults and $99 for children is required to be paid by 5pm Monday 8 October 2012. Payments can be made from Monday 10 September, with the balance due in May 2013.

Hero Passes can be purchased online from 10 September 2012 at the below website or on the resorts eStores – www.hotham.com.au/estore and www.skifalls.com.au/estore

As well as unlimited riding at Hotham and Falls Creek, a range of additional benefits will again be available to Hero Pass holders in 2013. To be eligible for summer (and Northern Hemisphere Winter) benefits, the balance of your Hero Pass must be paid in full by 5pm Thursday 6 December 2012.

“You will only need to ski 7 days in winter 2013 to ski out the value of this season passâ€, said Belinda Trembath, GM Hotham Skiing Company.

CPI is "supposed" to be 1.2%

Not really applicable to what they are offering here.

Full priced, day lift ticket prices, now that is a different story.
