Hi, everyone. I'm new at this site so hopefully I would get some awesome responses. I am from Argentina and will be going to Australia with the WH visa. I have been skiing since I was 4 (I'm 27 now) and i would like very much to spend the winter season at Hotam. I was thinking about becoming an instructor, that's the kind of job I would feel comfortable at, but then discover I have to attend to a Ski Clinic and sit for some exams. As you know, things in my country aren't that great so for me having to pay $280 without knownig if I would get hired gives me anxiety. I was wondering if anyone that had attended the clinic could give me some insight. Do a lot of people apply? If usually there are 100 candidates and then only 4 job offers, then it would be a long shot for me. Is it difficult? How much money do you make? Is it enough for living expenses or it would be better to work in a restaurant? I've heard tips are generous.
