It's nice that we agree Ramshead. But it can be a pain if I want to lap steeps in Victoria, I usually have to take two lifts and traverse a fair bit, so it is a bit of a bother.

I will always evangelise nutcracker tows wherever they are. Nutcrackers are so much cooler and faster than crowded places with chairlifts. As your recognised Tassie, before I read further, I assumed your first photo was of Ben Lomond, as it also has surface tows, rocks and lots of windswept iciness high above the treeline. I'd forgotten that the top of Thredbo does that almost as well as Ben Lomond. ;)

    IMO
    what scares you most
I've only ever been worried on 1 run at Hotham (not technically in bounds)
I've been worried on more than 1 run at buller (in bounds, not marked)

How good would it be if Hotham and Buller were on the same pass as opposed to Hotham and Falls. That would make me very happy.

Although some peeps from each camp still wouldn’t part zones because their head is so far up their $&@ or that human tribalism had taken effect that they couldn’t dare part from their crew. “Yeah man I’m a <insert resort name> skier bro, wouldn’t see me anywhere else.”

You're reading way to much into this thread ;)

Buller vs anyone invariably ends up in a shit fight of piss takers from both sides. Any decent Aussie skier would happily ski both mountains if dropped there out of the sky on a full snow weekend. It's a "popcorn" thread - you just have to sit back and enjoy the show and, if you're so inclined, cast a few lines in every now and again and see what bites LOL

    Yeah probs true dat!

I’ve just been on these forums long enough to be able to identify the few people whom are not content with the life choices they’ve made and therefore continually bag out other resorts when not necessary to make them feel better.

    On that note........GAME ON!

Nothing worse than waking up after a big night at the hoo ha thinking you've landed a 8 and realising she's a 3.
