    Just reminiscing :)

There was a post a couple of days ago mentioning winning The Calcutta...

So i'm not getting to CPV this year (my daughter has never been to Thredders and we got a great deal at the Alpine Hotel so...) but I do love the place.

How good was Race Week and spending all (late) evening and (early) morning down in the dungeon listening to Willy and The Babe Magnets work their magic. Awesome times. Class musicians will tell.

    So many hazy memories ;)

I was there in 1981. Chris & Willie Qua from Galapagos Duck plus Tony Buchanan and some mates from Sirocco. Some excellent jazz musos letting rip with some rock 'n' roll as Tony Buck and His Bucking Ears.

The Qua boys were awesome. I'm sure there's a picture of at least one of them as a young lad in that "Off The Roof" book...

We only had to get back up to Snowbird, but that was hard enough!
