Pretty much all the creeks are well covered so I cannot see a problem, but I did not ski it so can't say the run from Hume is open for sure.

Crunchy on the downside, sketchy creek snow covering.

When skiing Interceptor on Wednesday and Thursday saw a few people using the trail, visibility was not so good so cannot comment on the cover.

I thought the link from the Hume t bar went to the ridge chair, not the interceptor?

I haven't skied this run in the past - snow conditions have never permitted it. However, looking at the piste map on the perisher website, it looks like they have removed it. Maybe it exists now as off piste only?

Hume to Ridge has been off the map for years. I'd not heard of Hume to Interceptor before, from the map it looks like it would involve some hiking to get started. But I'll happily defer to anyone who's been there recently.

Piper to Interceptor looks to be open however, which would also give the OP access to Blue Cow from Smiggs.

Looked ok to me. Went out way wide to @D-eye country... way north, came back to Ridge Load. Hume to Ridge looked fine. Groomed like a highway.

Hume link goes to bottom of Ridge..comes out near a summer road... then involves a creek crossing with a bridge.
It would be (IMO) incredibly wind affected snow at the moment. Nothing like below
    Its a very shallow run.

one of the many anal things i do is keep at least one trail map from each trip
The trail was called Ridge Access.
It was last on the trail map in 2004.

Thanks for posting that Mr. Mook. Are there any other runs that have been removed from the trail map over recent years?

IMO that run would have very marginal snow conditions at the moment.. it faces straight into the wind in places

Excelerator mid station has now gone as well. Never saw it used once.

Asked about the ridge access a few years back, perisher info said it needs almost 2 meters of snow to be safe so now not marked on trail map, don't think the bridge is there anymore. Looked for it today and couldn't see it

I thought the bridge had been removed.

Once upon a time there was this fairy tale floating around called the Ski Slope Master Plan, and in it was a chapter dealing with upgrading the Ridge Access with summer grooming, snow making and a rebuild of the bridge to make the trail a permanent one.

Truly we live in a world of dreams.....
