I noticed Chamois has been opened up.

How does one go about getting to Chamois? Do you ahve to physically walk over to the run? or is the link from the bottom of Standard open?

Tues is going to be great! Im sure of it!

Don't know for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if the rope tows and the track from Standard are open.

be tough work using the canyon trail to get to chamois... i'm guessing that the track from the bottom of standard into the chamois chair wouldn't be open yet...

Nope, you couldn't get to Chamious Chair from the bottom, so it was pretty much a stand alone ski slope. Bit of a bummer, Chamious bowl would have to be one of the least used Bowls in the mountain...oops, I shouldn't have said that!!

Uhhh.... every time I've been to Buller and it's (CB) been open, it has been sooooo full of moguls that it was almost treacherous to go down! you don't get moguls 2 foot and bigger on a run that is never used!

unless you refer to the fact that it's never used because it's always tracked up so much that its not worth riding unless you want to practice for the Winter Olympic moguls?

not a big fan of chamois
the slope seems to run sideways and there are no real fast lines to take and as kahanamoku said heaps of ugly moguls
leave it to the dyhards and tryhards

If you know where the pow stashes are on good ol' chamois and areas nearby you can have a blast. IMO No good unless fresh tho'.

OK. The cover on chamois was definately a complete cover. It was icy as was the entire mountain, however, for some reason only the left hand side of the run was skiied on. This made the right hand unskiied (besides for a few tracks) and when the snow softened up a bit in the arvo, it was sweeet to ski on.

    Here are some photos:
