can't really decide!!!! ?You could probably base yourself at a couple of places for 3-4 days each. Travel between them isn't hard (less than 1 hr say after a days skiing) just not ideal for day trips. I'm less familiar with the Salzburger part so not sure where the best place to base would be, but Schladming is a great base for the Ennstal.
