Do i contact clubs or go through schools. just need to be pointed in the right direction cheers in advance.
If your kids school isn't already involved then look at http://interschoolssnowsports.com.au/on how to get involved.
Depends on how serious they get. Participating in Interschools need be no more expensive than your standard family holiday.
We have season passes might look at the perisher development programs and see how they go first. We live about 1hr15 from jindy so getting up there isn't a problem
If you live that close then definitely get them in a full season development program. Build skills and mileage first, then gradual introduction of racing if they are into it. The end goal should be huge skill base and lifelong love of skiing. Just sticking them into a start gate at Interschools without considered preparation will cost you a fortune in "essential" equipment and likely stress them out to the point where skiing is longer enjoyable.
@vibe++ http://www.stmoritzskiclub.com/ An excellent group to become part of. Majority local kids. Excellent training in Thredbo with a very supportive parental group.
Might get back to Thredbo when the kids are a bit older at the moment we get perisher season passes as we will be taking advantage of the epic pass for US trip in Jan. Kids like perisher and i like catching the tube instead of contending with crazies on the road up to the resorts. Thanks for the info guys
