I skied at Falls on Saturday and as not interested in Sun Valley flatness and shortness of runs; I got tired of the line and crawl up Gully Chair that I called it quits and went to Hotham on Sunday. If Inter was running would have definitely stayed on for Sunday.

Anyway it's all the same lift company anyway!

Overheard this morning that splice repair of the cable was ok but there is some other problem. Didn't hear as my mate decided to talk to me. Bugger. When I asked lift company person about Inter running this weekend he gave me a very official, "No comment". I'll take that as a no.

When I was coming off the hill this arvo I passed the spool of cable on a trailer heading the other way up the hill. The poma line has been 'taped off' and made safe this morning and the cable dropped ready for the repair.

The fact that the cable was only heading up the hill today would suggest that this is more rumour surrounding the whole situation.

I too saw said spool of cable at the oversnow terminal. Raised my hopes somewhat.

Word from FCSL in social media is that they are testing first thing this morning and hopefully up mid morning.

Great effort by all involved in getting the iconic old girl up and running by today. Having spent the week waiting for it to run, it was great to get a few fast loops in this morning. Hats off to you all and apologies for being a whinging sceptic earlier in the week.

Grr, I was up at Falls that weekend looking forwards to ripping up the Maze. Not being able to use the International Poma means a long delay between skiing the Maze.

But good to hear that it's back up and running...

The International is probably the only thing Falls can genuinely use the word 'iconic' for!
(I know, ending sentence in a preposition)
