We are staying on the mountain for the first time. I was told to purchase a 1 day pass for the day we arrive and 1 day pass when we are leaving as it’s cheaper then the 14 day pass (That’s 1 trip return within 14 days). Is my car allowed to stay overnight on the night/a I don’t have a ski tube pass. Like do you need to have a ticket on your car like the parks pass? 2 x day return tickets $55 each (Epic pass) 2 x 14 day return tickets $105 each
Not a problem. They don't check and there are no passes on vehicles. Also it's outside the park so no Parks pass is required.
Echo what others have said. In addition once you turn off to the skitube take the turn off to the left not the right for overnight parking, past the second day parking zone to your right you will find ski tube building and loading zone where you can drop off the luggage. Unload your car then park in the overnight parking areas and walk back, saves dragging the luggage through the car park.
I wouldn't worry too much about the day parking versus overnight. Never known them to police that. Also if you go to the left you will get the drop off area near the bus parking, a lot easier to get your gear into the station than lugging through the car park.
They only police it when it snows heavily down to Bullocks Flat. They clear the day carparks, and box in cars parked overnight during clearing operations.
That's not the point, nor "policing". They're boxed in by the snow because the snowplough has to go around the car. So @skinavy no I would not suggesting leaving your car in the day parking.
