Opa, just back from Snowy plains/Reynard. Walked 95% of the way. Snow daisies set to flower soon. Knowing the country where your coming from, think you'll have a long walk till the Big J area. Would think snow around Cesjacks would be thin (if any at all). Should meet 1st snow around Bulls Peaks and higher. Prefered option would be Munyang PS, up onto Disappointment Spur ASAP (before the aquaduct hut there is a nice open spur) the noth over Gungarten. Could work out best snowy route by that stage.
    cheers

Spent last week ski-touring up around Jag. Tue-Wed-Thu were dream time: good snow and blue sky. Nights were well sub-zero and clear.

Also played with snoeshoes for a couple of days.

Snow cover was thinning, that's for sure, but the really high areas were still fine.
