12:40 14:30Last edited by a moderator:Well it says on matsumoto airport website and they only have 2 flights a day anyways. a very dying airport.so lets be hoping that Jetstar Australia and Jetstar Japan get some lovely connection/perfect timing/decent deals going then! coz the 27hours it took me to get from Hirafu to Perth - and the less than perfect airplane maintenance for the price that Qantas charged has got to be having a lend!!For the record Matsumoto to CTS via JAL is around 26,800 yen one way....
which really isn't that bad...
consideing the bus to Nagano then shink to Tokyo, then train/monorail to Haneda sets you back around 9000...
then skymark to CTS would be what? 17000? so price wise it would be similar.This awesome! Pretty soon skiers in Niseko will be able to make day trips to see the Snow Monkeys and Matsumoto Castle when it rains!

Narita- efficient. –Plane landed at 7.05…Monorail at 7.14 Clear immigration and have bag in hand 7.31 buying a train ticket…jeepers…Hello Kesei super citylino..- nice train..fast sleek and good price/travel time. Please consider if youre keen on getting to Nagano in a hurry.

We travel to Kyushu regularly. I checked both Niigata-Fukuoka and Matsumoto-Fukuoka on Dream Fuji. Can buy advance fares for 17,000 adult. So that's a worthwhile saving - both time and money - over the shink.
Is that plan, rought draft or actual TR donza?

Depends if they want traditional style, western style or self contained Donza. Maybe Address Nozawa apartments? Nozawa Grand would be a fairly safe bet for western style. For ryokan Sakaya is the stand out choice and possibly Yuyado Jonnobi (gets mixed reviews). The newly renovated Kawamotoya might also be worth a look.
