Looks good today, but Hakuba should be like that around December 15th, not January 11th

Anyone know what up with the Myoko cam across from the carpark?

Wow they look so sad now. I cant even look at them every day, just watching the snow disappear.
Yep, but that just exemplifies this season. I dropped some crew off this morning at the station in bright sunshine and they were dressed in t-shirts. When I picked them up late on Feb 29 it was in the middle of a snowstorm and the train couldn't even make it all the way to Myoko-Kogen.
Hunter Mountain finally getting a little bit of snow, makes me laugh:
Coming down this morning.
Heading to Tomamu in a week or so, saw they have a youtube livestream at the gondola base.
New link for the Tomamu webcam. Looks to be at the bottom of the Tower Hotel this year (last year it was at the bottom gondola station) -
Niseko has finally joined the 21st century and has a live streaming webcam
welcome to a new way to waste your day (Thanks to rhythm niseko for the webcam)
Not in the forums there isnt.
Yeah. Not sure why they'd make that change ... they must have a reason, I guess, but it doesn't seem too logical to me (then again, I'm not Japanese, so their logic often escapes me!).
Looking for cams at Furano too, but the only 2 I can "find" are so slow to load, often time out connection, that it's just an exercise in frustration!
Look at this ... http://furano.miemasu.net:85/CgiStart?page=Single&Language=0
Trying to find webcams that are live at the moment - the Myoko one looks live.
Leads me to call BS on snowjapan:
These are often the depths when they close and no longer update the depths.... and probably when a lot of them turn off the webcams!!!
Myoko webcams are live 7/24/365
