Need to look soon. But first weekend in November is usually the opening fair for the ski shop area, there's a lot of info then
This has just popped up on facebook. So might be worthwhile for anyone going to Lotte Arai but otherwise I know that at most of the places listed you can get better deals with coupons. http://www.shinetsu-shizenkyo.com/supervalue-ticket/english.php
Surprised that Lotte is joining in. Thus far they've shunned all other regional tourism bodies. Maybe things are changing. Skichanger is correct re good value for Arai but not so much for other areas.
Don't know what Arai usual price is but the link I posted above has this deal for arai Advance Discount Coupon Lotte Array Resort Lift 1 day ticket <all day> 5,200 yen (tax included)
Madarao Kogen ski resort Early bird lift 1 day ticket <All day ┃ Adults> 3,000 yen (including tax) 500Y upgrade to tang ram.
6,000. With the http://www.shinetsu-shizenkyo.com/supervalue-ticket/english.php ticket it's 4,200. I think a better name would be Lotte Disarray.
Just a heads up, the Ski/Snowboard fair is this weekend (27/28) in Jimbocho. Lots of cheap lift tickets and giveaways if you're in the area. https://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/hiro0425k...844OE56Wt44KKIDIwMTjml6nlibLjg6rjg5Xjg4jliLg=
That is a very good price for Madarao. It is less than I can buy them for as a member of the tourist association.
Has anyone had any experience using online voucher? It translates to smalif? It says "Cheap lift ticket "Smuriff" exchange ticket with free shipping on tickets is delivered to the mobile phone via e-mail and ticketing is easy! Purchase even on the day of use"
Have you got a link? I know Suginohara sell online tickets now. And for some places it is the only way to buy using a credit card.
Not 100% but pretty sure it's to Japanese mobile email which then links to one of those QR codes which you then get scanned on your phone. I'll get my missus to double check.
Missus says going to email, so should be okay. However please don't hang the messenger if that's wrong!
I think that some of these will only accept a Japanese phone email. @Born2ski @Born2skii Will probably know
Yes I do..... Aussie email address is fine. They normally ask for two email addresses, one for your computer and one for your phone, but I had no problems just providing one. Yes I've used these, used them at Maiko resort (Yuzawa region). BUT you need to have internet/data access on your phone when you take it to the ticket counter. I just had a pocket wifi in my jacket connected to my phone.
@bullet Here's my post from 2016 when I used the electronic tickets. https://www.ski.com.au/xf/threads/japan-season-2015-16-lift-ticket-coupons.72015/page-4#post-2874601
Can you not just take a screenshot of the email showing the QR code or download the ticket attachment to your phone (if they come as an attachment)?, then you wouldnt need data access.
No. When I used them in 2016 I handed my phone across to the ticket counter with the ticket on the phone screen and they enter an authentication code into your phone. So you need data access for the phone to confirm the code.
Just be aware that this ticket deal is for two adult tickets that can be used at Naeba OR Kagura. If you want the joint ticket you need to pay an extra 800yen per day. I've used these vouchers before and done the upgrade to the joint ticket.
I've come to like the Japanese differences. I treat them as a challenge, like solving the Rubik's cube.
Akakura Kanko discounts I want to know what this one is https://www.lift-ticket.jp/shopdetail/000000000354/myoko/page1/order/ So if anyone can enlighten me I would appreciate it.
If you already have a season pass of another ski resort, Akakura Kanko's season pass will become 20,000 Yen. You need to buy / book it by December 13th. For example, if you buy Akakura Kanko's season pass now, it's 35,000 Yen, but If you already have Madarao's season pass, you can buy Akakura Kanko's season pass at 20,000 Yen.
Akakura Kanko offer two group discounts as well. One of the group discounts is season pass will become 20,000 Yen per person if your group consist of 8 or more. It sounds a good deal for lodge owners to me in that some of their guests will stay long there.
Can I confirm that these lift tickets are for sale at 22% off. I can buy these and print a ticket ready to use in January?
Yep sometimes it is better to just investigate a little further. I will never understand buying a day ticket at Akakura Kanko for 4200 yen ( I think) when you can buy a day ticket with a meal for 3900 yen.
The Mt. Myoko(Akakan/Ikenotaira & 5hr? Suginohara) discount ticket that was 2500yen the past few seasons is now 3500yen.
I think you need to go to the actual store to get these but there are some very good deals. If you are in Japan on business or live here well worth checking out http://www.ici-sports.com/lp/2018-2019-season-hayawari/
I am having trouble accessing this website to check for coupons https://www.snownavi.co.jp/en/coupon/ Anyone else get the same bug out?
