Discussion in 'Japan' started by Sandy, Sep 1, 2020.
I don't know many of us will have use for Japanese lift ticket coupons for the coming season. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.
35,000 for a season ticket at Togari Onsen.
This is a very very good deal.
4400 yen per day for 26 resorts
That's a good deal. Obviously better for some resorts than others.
This thread is cruel and unusual punishment.
However, there is still talk about the travel bubbles..... They are currently discussing Australia & Japan.
Business travel is allowed between Japan/Vietnam/Thailand, with NO quarantine necessary, but full itinerary and tacking App required.
Wow. Didn't realise it was no quarantine. I heard that Aussies with visas have to quarantine in a hotel or get taken from the airport by private transport to their residence to quarantine.
Self isolation may not be completely isolated, as it says that public transport is not to be used, implying that you can go out, but must not use public transport:
For some of the resorts. For others savings are marginal as compared to local coupons you can pick up.
P.S. Can we keep the discussion on tickets?
Nifty new search tool for discount tickets with English options
Went there on a minibus trip package from Nozawa Onsen in 2018. At Togari Onsen one can enjoy skiing, the outdoor onsen and even indulge in petting for an hour or more. I enjoyed the petting (zoo) more than I thought I would.
Would be a good road trip pass. Covers a lot of Honshu. Get a campervan and do a lap.
Tangram for 2,600!
Can you upgrade it for the all mountain pass? 500 yen extra from the Madarao side and assume similar from Tangram.
No, only for Murao and MADAEAO
You mean: "MADAEAO MADARAO", right?
Or to make it clear, it's 2600yen for Tangram only, and +1200, or total 3800yen for both Tangram & Madarao. (normally 5500yen)
Very good value. If tourists from Australia can come to Japan by early March or earlier without quarantine, I'll be very keen and I'll come with a folder of printed coupons.
Nope, I definitely meant MADAEAO
This is the coupon thread and it's off topic. I will move the post.
