As the Japanese snow season wraps up, I post the final blog update. Hope everyone has had a great season! IMO. https://longrangesnowcenter.blogspot.com.au/2017/04/japanese-snow-season-on-long-term-1st.html
Currently dumping down in Hakuba and starting to stick to the road. It began snowing when it was 4 degrees too. Throw in some thunder. Another powder day coming up maybe
Well, the Tokyo & Yokohama was a degree or two below normal for March, the cherry blossoms in Yokohama are late. However, looks like 20 degrees+ today, and the blossoms are already just coming out, so I'd expect them to be fully out by this afternoon. Peak time should be this weekend.
Snowing in Echoland atm. Wet but snow We should get a 5-10 cms on the hill today but it is meant to warm up later so nothing to get too excited about. It's been a ripper season and still top to bottom skiing here on the 3 big resorts that are open.
Raining in Yokohama, cold and getting colder.... Below 7 degrees now (after 10 overnight), cold day for this time in April.
