Japanese Super Hot and Humid Summer 2020 thread

    Following on from this, Hokkaido recorded its highest ever September temp today at 34.4C.
    Once again, seems to the the fault of a typhoon passing to the west and sucking in the hot air from the south.

    Looks like the change in the mid summer season will finally happen during the weekend.

    Hokkaido roasting. Comparatively speaking. 3.5C up on average for the first part of Sept.

    I was mostly curious why their winter "prediction" is overlaid on a forecast for September.

    I don't know where to post Autumn Weather related thingy, is it here:p?

    It seems forecasting accurate typhoon routes a few day ahead is still a bit difficult even in 2020. A few days ago, weather forecasters were saying "A typhoon is coming and it's likely to hit Tokyo - Ibaraki (It's where we own a hobby farm)", so we were a bit scared but actually, it's not hitting here. This is the forecast we saw a few days ago.
