Dates from mid Feb to March19 SYD-TYO. About $550 return incl taxes. There are also specials on QF and JAL during that period for $800 return.
JAL flights are hard to pass up when you factor in the baggage fees for Jetstar. Get on them people!!
Pretty busy period to travel in. You can get flights with Malaysian Air Melb - Sapporo for your dates for under $1,200 return. But obviously not a nicer airline than JAL or Qantas. Gotta weigh up your cost v comfort factor
Yep, 2 weeks ago could of gone with China Air for $780. Bloody cheap, but i'm sure i would of regretted it.
China Airlines recently announced they are changing their Aussie routes to the Boeing 777. https://www.routesonline.com/news/3...irlines-nw18-operation-changes-as-of-03jul18/ Looks like they moved the A350's to longer routes to Europe and Ontario. p.s I've got premium economy seating this January to Japan with China Airlines, $1100 return. We love rice.
I don't believe they fly to Haneda out of Taipei so you would need to change airports if travelling to Aus.
To be fair I'm not a fan of toasted sandwiches either so wont fly Jetstar. That and some other more obvious reasons... Hoping JAL release some more seats soon. Silly expensive currently.
Jetstar just started their "return for free" sale to Japan. Melb - Narita from $375. No doubt way more than that in dates anyone would want to fly, but still some savings to be had if you're Jetstar keen. Last day Sun October 7th.
Looks like we will miss japan next year. Was waiting on the free return from Jetstar. All our previous trips have been via this sale and always march/april. This years sale is for dates much later - may june. Bummer.
