Thanks for that. Looking forward to Friday. It's a shame that the Stirling cams are not properly updated.
Certainly not me... The actual experts and gurus were on point though.
TBJ has updated. It white.
Stanley trail report has gone from poor to good this morning.
NE Victoria, near Beechworth. ~700m.
That should do you for 2-3 weeks.
Wind still hoofing through Tas. Mattsuyka & King Island still coping 90-odd km/h gusts. Frequent showers it seems.
Wifey reporting snow starting again at Mt Victoria
Anybody up at Stirling today? Photos please?
Little flurry outside my office window in Canberra. 7th floor.
Harry got a day off kinder and hiked leonards hill just out of Daylesford this morning. 1 - 2 inches on the ground.
Light snow at Buller- 30cm since Monday
Canberra Airport is reporting almost 5 degrees, it's mostly sunny, and there is still the odd flurry of snowflakes falling from the passing clouds. Quite od
Cold Dry air etc
From Buller entry gate earlier:

I have the same problem. Just logged in to help you out. After you load the page hit refresh on your browser. i only have this problem for Stirling cams. Have fun on Friday
Suffering severe FOMO
I hears ya.
TBJ looking fabulous
I'm told FC is really struggling with limited lifts operating (Halley's closed for time being), so everyone in the bowl and queues unbearable
Snow great though; 'boot deep'
Hobart has some evidence of snow to sea level. I am inclined to think it's from earlier this AM and doubt it settled.
Mt Macedon last night
I observe wind hold not too bad of a problem right now at Perisher and Thredbo
Only really Blue Cow & Mt P chairs at Perisher on hold, with Basin & Karels currently on hold at Thredbo.....
North Perisher T-bar still closed, would be well worth the short hike/skate from top of Interceptor today....
All systems go
Ques don't look to bad on summit cam.
Legit? Is that a Rex plane? I am skeptical given HBA sits at 4m ASL.
Just tried the 2nd time to get up the GAR. Fitting chains at the gate. Get to the ticket box to be told theres a 2hr wait for convoys.
Perisher this morning reported 35cm .
Was 42mm in the BOM gauge.
I know some love to bash the lee side mid station drink bottle thing every day
and they , and every other resort have been guilty as charged over the years.
I am sceptical most times too , so do my own research as do many of us.
But this year they been pretty much calling it as it is IMO .
BB at Hotham is well a respected straight shooter and calls it as it is.
10 pts there.
Ghnarr arrgghhh aarrr pirate
Nope, just broken I think
Given power failure yesterday I think they're running on diesel where possible....
Why such a doubter ... It's white white white ... Legit white all across the plains
Saw that too after I posted. But I didn't see any queue so I wondered if closed
That's 3-4 cm to sea level. It's pretty significant if it's legit.
Dream Run. Happy wife...life...etc
Any day in australia where i gotta dig myself outa chest deep windblown filled gullies twice is a bonza one! Woo hoo watta morning..
The Duck is in his office.
The offspring about to kick my butt down the lower section of Dream Run
Don't think REX have any Jets so can't be theirs. The blue tail could be Alliance airlines maybe, but I think they only have Fokkers and that looks like an A320 or B737, so not sure of the owner of that one.
Dash of Whiskey in his coffee perhaps .
I observe - not often you get to ski Dream Run with such conditions. Very jealous. Enjoy.
Honestly looks like perisher hasn't received much at all. Or it all blew to Thredbo.
That looks sweet
Observe temps are remaining low, -7 @ top of Thredbo.
Props for those who called a big system, has happened a few times this season when the regulars under predict.
Buller is starting to open up with more lifts. I observe crowds but powder stashs on the side
I am not even a thredbo skier anymore and i am v jealous!
I observe it should be possible to do top to bottom again on pow today!
Went for a walk around the block at lunchtime. Sun is out in Canberra but there is still snow on the upper southern slopes of Mount Ainslie. Air temp is brisk, with a moderate wind.
The boss who told me I should have taken a sickie spent his lunch break looking online for accommodation at Thredbo for the weekend after this.
Which lift line are they waiting in?
