Some beautiful cirrus & Alto cumulus clouds passing to the North of Sydney. All inbound from the NW of WA.
Mild day, but it just 'feels' like a big change coming.

Fractocumulus spilling over the ranges from Selwyn to Adaminaby. Dry and enough wind gusts to make the powerlines sing and bursts of sun. Slowly getting cloudier over last 2 hours. But he front is along way off yet. App temp -6 at Selwyn but -15 at Thredbo Ouch!!.. W

I observe I was nearly blown sideways by the gusts on the ride in from the inner north this morning. The north westerly made it an easy sit on 40 odd clicks, unlike last night on the way home where it was a struggle pushing 27-28!

Hotham has dialed up feral. Trip up was hairy wout chains, would be surprised if they manage to keep road open today. 5-10 cm DP and 10-20 already up the hill. Will be drifting deep w lots of wind hold

Cold 7 degrees in Mt Beauty, steady rain and 20km/h wind at my place. Feeling icy out there, some small hail in amongst the rain.

Very strong winds currently in Irymple South, Vic. And fast moving dark clouds overhead.

I also observe the vineyard running down from our home is now completely stripped of leaves, it was not that way 1hr ago.

Snow at Mt Lofty. Mixed with hail coming in horizontally at 56km/h. A real treat for the eyeballs.

Next patch is due in 30min hopefully we might get some settling with that as it looks to be a more substantial band.
