I'm no expert but from what I've read on here and elsewhere it's expected to stay cold until all moisture has passed.

If you had to take a day- tomorrow (Thurs) or Friday - which would be better?
I'm wondering whether there will be better tracks tomorrow afternoon, or Friday morning?? (I'm not fussed if its wet, cold and or windy!)

Sorry- forgot to mention - will be heading to Buller. Also not to worried about visibility. There is always enough vis in the trees.

Not familiar with Buller weather. Or accuracy of Weather Station. But temps look good, and CM is reporting snow.

But as none of the Buller peeps are posting. I'm guessing there will 10cm by tomorrow avro. imo. But the morning after a dump is always special.

This thread has indicated that Victoria will be favoured in the tail of this system (correct?) during the south westerly flow. Is it likely that NSW will start to clear earlier tomorrow while its being blocked by the Vic Alps?
Selfish motivations here, I am going out for some turns in the morning and wanted some visibility.
