There was some snow on the ground at Berridale this morning.
Good 5cm of snow in Bombala now. Really dumped there for a while. Looked it was clearing but it's coming down heavy again. Woohoo

Howling up here in Sutherland now,but dont care, just packed the skis and heading to Jindy in an hour for the w/e
Not surprised given the temps and direction of this system - Jindy and Cooma love it when it comes from the S

Rock Garden not looking very rocky anymore:
And the village square at Buller not looking like it has a rock garden any more:
looks like it has been super windy, that looks very crusty
Blowing a gale here in PV again today. Most lifts in the resort area on wind hold.
Some great pics as usual from Nick Moir, SMH photog, @nampix on instagram

You can guarantee Hotham had about the same.
Snowed at Ferny Creek in Melbourne's Dandenongs again last night but it didn't settle.
Bobo village at 5am...
Merrits about 930 this morning when everything else was closed. Wind blown but pretty sweet in the trees.
I observe it's damn windy here in Brisbane with wind gusts up to 80km/h reported at the airport and an App temp of 3.4c .
Clear and sunny though, good day for solar panels.
Top of Brown Mountain this morning.
We have the same jacket!
Gee it did puke...
thought it wasn't south enough
Sunny breaks at Buller, wind has calmed since this morning.
Mate in Perisher
stuck on front valley. What a waste!
He's been elsewhere as well. I actually haven't hit Perisher yet so next week will be my orientation!
Canberra got to 13.5 at 12.56 pm now back to 12.2 what is going on? Was there a warm feed. This needs some answer.
Don't worry Kylep. A day on front valley is not as wasted as a day in the office in front of the computer.
Southerlies causing havoc to lift systems set up for westerlies?
I was almost blown over in Berridale.
Also ruins a snowpack
I remember a couple of years back we had a low level snow system followed by some crazy south winds.
Was quite similar to this
Most spots were un rideable
They had this weird drifting like you can see in Rock garden
Oberon this morning courtesy of Ian Sutton on Flickr
Windy and poor visibility up top of thredders earlier today. Just open kosi chair for first time today. Hopefully freshies to be found
alarm went off this morning, listened to the wind, head back under the doona, plenty on windhold today, tomorrow will be a cracker...
very fresh in Sydney today. Quite cloudy & still bowing a gale out there
^ I observe that I rode the Vespa to work rather than cycling into a 40km headwind
Traffic heading out of Sydney at 2pm was busy already. Not too bad past Crumbletown though. Lots of cops.
Cold, clear, and breezy at Sutton Forest. No sign of snow on hills in the highlands, but we'll see what lurks further south.
Been coldies passing up the valley all day. Looking towards Healesville it's bloody dark now. Wouldn't be surprised if LM picked up some sneaky cm's today.
Here's a shot I took earlier:
I thought so. I'm certain there was snow earlier last night in Ceres. I Got shot down pretty quick on here, I was right after all! Was freezing down here at ocean grove.
I went up to ceres look out at about 10 30 last night. Wasnt snowing but I reckon it would have been bloody close to it.
Kimberlee I would love to see that footage
Nothing really on the radar but we are getting a touch of snow this evening, can't be much in it.....currently -4
Beautiful morning up here at Perisher, nice and cold, light winds, loads of snow and a few wispy clouds.
Bring it ooooorn!
Was a coach stuck on the way up and blocked about 100 cars, and then about an hour or two later it got stuck on the way down! Doh!! Still windy here but hopefully abating.
