did you miss today's real time downgrade
By about 220km
Wednesday 5 July
Possible rainfall: 10 to 15 mm
Chance of any rain: 90%
Cloudy. Very high (90%) chance of snow showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm in the morning. Winds northerly 30 to 35 km/h turning west to northwesterly 20 to 25 km/h during the morning.
Sun protection not recommended, UV Index predicted to reach 1 [Low]
Buller tomorrow doesn't look to flash.
Are you looking for the convergence of temps getting cooler or the purple.
I am confident we'll see snow falling from about 7-9am tomorrow morning, down to 1600m IMO. Potentially heavy in NSW.
Uppers are due to be quite a bit cooler than today, as the cooler air fills in from the west.
Thanks for the lullaby.
Stay in the car park and enjoy the rain then, doesn't make a pinch of shit difference to me.
Erm...i think he meant it's a sweet lullaby to go to bed too...!
Haha I am otherside of the world so I clearly didn't get the bedtime memo in that one, sorry @rocketboy
alas, still marginal atm
Will be marginal all day, but I see the uppers supporting snow (to 1600m) through marginal temps. -26C at 500mb will get us through today IMO.
Obs suggesting lower than that so far this morning.
Yeah cheers, I just got up to date in the obs thread. Great news for now. Will fluctuate higher but we can Thank huey for those uppers.
what is it looking like after this system
See 6-10 Predictions thread.
My bad, that's the thread I thought j was in
The purple. The fluctuating Divergence/ Convergence at higher levels had me thinking perhaps not ideal ingredients for any sustained snowfall.
