Maxed at 4.3° C today; mainly cold rain tending to sleet. Currently 2.2° C and sleeting at about 6 mm/hr.
Accumulation happening at Wilson’s Valley. Rather serene watching from out of the dining room window at SkiRider hotel. Especially for a boy from the Mid North Coast.Hotham slowly transforming.. a substantial base of concrete with “dust on crust” conditions this morning ,
After lunch was much better. All lifts spinning and not that busy, light snow all day. I don’t recall a queue on any lift last 2 days

at least the credits given will set that up later...Great day out at Mt saint Gwinear today. Snowed on and off between 1-3pm and when we left the car park it was coming down hard.

Snow stake this morning looks a decent snowfall overnight
A good 5cm of fresh stuff at Mt Saint Gwinear car park and still snowing
3-5cm on the ground at Ski Rider this morning, snow at FV is absolutely mint, just wish the wind would die off a bit!A fresh coating of snow on Tidbinbilla Peak and Camels Hump (SW of Canberra) this morning. Camels Hump is 1400m, so the snow line is around 1300m.

4 hours of supreme skiing , quality of snow overnight very nice

Stock tells me about 30 cms at PV total for the total 2 day event event…… more on the drifts and less on the exposed. Yesterday’s snow became the new top base layer and better skiing to be had today!!

Freshly covered silky whipped cream conditions early this morning over at International at Falls, with nobody around.
It’s been snowing horizontally off and on all day at Dargan BMs 1100M.

Wintry.Neighbours report snow at Hampton on and off, but not settling.Snowed on and off all day at Buller, intermittent heavy falls too. Snow became heavy, no vis up high and very windy.

That's simply a foehn effect - note the strikingly low 34% RH
