Cold pool more north than what the VIC resorts would like.

Radio station here reporting Adelaide just had the wettest July day since 1941 - plus a dusting of snow on Mt Lofty. It's certainly wet enough and cold enough here.

Light snow all morning at Hotham with some brief moderate falls. Sticking to trees, chairlift towers, people but not buildings or the road. Tending to rain a little lower down.

Snow seemed to be settling around 1800 ATM @ Perisher this morning. Poor visibility on Mt P - wet wintry mix on lower mountain. So many skiers with wet gear. Signs of snow rate increasing & starting to settle on roof of Perisher centre. About 1cm on BBQ tables @ Sundeck overlooking front valley.

I observe it's absolutely dumping at Thredbo village level. Big flakes, no wind. Beautiful. Visibility up top crappy though.

Pissing down in Jindy. Puddles forming. Town is empty as I guess is the Hill.

That Wilsons Valley cam shot link is great to see - this is right up there with 2012 - just a week later.

It really needs one more dump out at Eyre and many places. Thredbo also needs it up high as well and all will be good for season 2016 - so good to be wrong. August should be great ...

Was wet earlier, getting better and better. Accumulating fast - 4-5cm on the deck where I am staying at about 1400m ASL over past 1.5 hours.
Can I post pics on here that I have already loaded to Facebook or Instagram?
