So I know it’s out of the date range,
But it has absolutely pelted down at the northern beaches of Sydney and showing no signs of letting up.

I went for a ride down Gardner’s Creek, 10 minutes in it started raining, rained all the way through, creek and the drains was starting to get filled up on the way back.

Still raining now in Box Hill.

It was mild this morning in Middle Park...Team Bears got a roller blade in with T shirts on before the rain came over.We saw the blob on the BOM radar closing in .....

We had noticed some cumulus stacks to our west on the drive down to the beach prior to this.

But some light to moderate rainfall in SE suburbs over last couple of hours.

Heavy shower passing over the Dandenongs now. Took us by surprise. Has dropped the temperature, feels like winter again.

Heading to Perisher this morning, road was wet and mizzle falling at Berowra. Steady rain all along the M2 and M7, patchy rain but wet roads until 30km north of Canberra. Fog from south of Canberra almost until Cooma.

Snowpack is undamaged though. It was sunny from Cooma to Perisher.

Finally lit up proper.....looks like conditions are favourable to give the guns a good run tonight. Hoping this is across the mountain. They punch out a stack of snow when fully cranked!

Blue cow live cam shows guns blazing up Zalis and terminal, likely ridge too. Interesting to see if they can get that open in the next two weeks on snowmaking alone like they did a few years back

Observe Perisher decided to switch Mt P cam on to 24 hours early this morning. Looks the goods to see those guns operating on Mt P and beyond. They will transform the mountain quickly IMO.

Blue Cow churning it out also!

Seems Thredbo is really falling behind Perisher in the snow making game. I thought they boasted the biggest capacity in the Southern Hemisphere..

Thredbo lead the way in 2006/7. Perisher has defintley lead the way since 2008 and seems to improve incrementally each year. Thredbo has been stagnant for a while now.

With that being said Thredbo look to have had a huge night on FF highnoon, lower supertrail and Merrits.

Lovely cool morning in Melbourne today, just slightly over 6c for the city and in the 4's for most of the suburbs.

The cams are a sorry sight across VIC, sincerely hope for some (any) recovery over the next few weeks.

It would be interesting to see validate this, especially with the new capacity at Leichhardt.

Also its one thing to have a bunch of non computerised lances vs the fans that are particularly prevalent at Perisher. I feel like the term "death cookie" was invented by Thredbo skiers :)

Guns still blazing on every camera at Perisher

Kicked off this morning skiing while the guns were still going. There were some nice patches of man-made on top of the corduroy here and there.
