If we do end up with a period of strong SE wind, I observe there'd be a period of high avy danger on the western/northern faces. Kunama hut avalanche path says hi.
After reaching 10.3 in Drouin, it's started dropping and is now 9.2

Omeo suffering from a microburst perhaps now with 17mm in the tank (8mm in the last hour) & clocking in at a chilly +0.9C.
1.8 and wet in Orange. Must be very close to whiteness.

South P cam shows incoming. Even 10cm would be good to consolidate this base.
The wonderful thing is it's heavily falling in Thredbo with very little wind (TS racking up 30-40 km/h), with maybe < half that in the village*
Taken this afternoon near Marysville.
And in Falls Creek, looking lovely under a further coat of freshies.
Will see if i can get snowstuff to post , Dinner Plain must be looking awesome round the village about now.

Going of Live cam obs I'd say Thredbo picking up 2-3cm in the last hour or two.

Can't see the lights of Thredbo in the high noon cam = pukage. Another couple of hours of it to go. And tracks at merrits becoming more rounded on top.
Steady rain at Moonbah over the past 20 mins has now started to turn to decent size solid snow flakes. It’s cold as well so looks like the forecasted low level snow might just materialise locally.....
