FB tells me it's puking in Jindabyne
Wet at my place, lake level
Quick 10mm at Mt Ginini all below zero degrees. Heavier band on the radar went over the Tinderries, so they should be nicely coated tomorrow morning.

Gippsland st........Sloppy flakes in amongst the moisture.
Does this count, no deptho?
The deptho is hidden under the snow. Coke can, 13cm high.
Really chucking it down on the Cruiser cam now. As good as night-time falls get on a Live cam...
Very cold and damp in Canberra; in fact freezing. Good sign for the mountains
Mount Nowa Nowa in Gippsland racking up 38mm thus far.
Stuck in snow GAW waiting for plow...
About 6mm in the last hour at Perisher and looks socked in for the next few at least

I observe lights on at Friday Flat and dumpage in the lights.
Now snowing at my place, jindy lake level. Big wet flakes
Interesting they flicked the switch on the tower lights...
So good seeing it dump with nil wind.
Not mine. Off insta.
I must be on the wrong side of town, all I hear on my roof is heavy rain.
Not sure i agree with this. Check out that moist air off the coast of Nowra. It heading northh straight toward BMs. With 9degree air at sea level (Nowra AWS).
After going out to inspect I claim a 74% rain, 23% chunky rain, 3% sleet/wet snow mix.
Han Solo : Traveling through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops, boy! Without precise calculations we could fly right through a star or bounce too close to a supernova and that'd end your trip real quick, wouldn't it?
Nah, outta context... I was replying to your quote of "Must be snowing up there"...
I think the BM's will get some in the early hours of tomorrow - hence the Blackheath twitter quote.
The BMs need the moisture to pass over kiama IMO
Looks like the eye of the low is tracking just inland of the coast, but following coastline. Pulling in some great moisture.
The low's moving in the right direction.
Currently, the surface low is off in the Tasman.
ULL is over the Sydney basin...
It's just something I've noticed.
It's like a inbound bull's-eye
Just starting to stick....
Mt Baw Baw obs looks to have averaged 3mm per hour all arvo and managed to stay under 0 the whole time
8.2mm in Perisher in the last two hours between 7 and 9pm. Finally it arrives!
10.8 now! Pelting down
Yep, was mostly steady rain from late morning, with a few heavy falls mid afternoon. Currently blowing a gale and intermittent showers. Our guage guessing a bit over 30mm. And sat between 8-9C most of the day! (We're close to coast between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance.)
Coming down very nicely indeed
Can confirm it’s cold and starting to rumble in Nowra as the juice on the radar rolls over.
Cedarwood cam stopped updating an Hour ago?
Green Cape on NSW South Coast racking up 45 knots.
Falls Creek a little windy with a tonne @ 8:30pm
Good slopes nearby for a night ski!
Love the contrast from the still taken at 16:59 of patches of dirt with the live stream now with carpet of white
Yep. It’s still snowing though.
Cooma down to 0.1 under a heavy shower
Looks to have stopped in Thredbo. Possibly underwhelming totals by morning (sub 10cm)?
Came here to say the same thing, hopefully more coming?
Still snowing albeit much lighter than before. Sat pic sgows that being the end of the heavy stuff. Id guess a quick 15cm. Maybe another 5cm to come up higher over the next day. About what the forecast suggested earlier this morning.
12mm in the can at Perisher. I'm calling 10cents so far with that and looking at the South Perisher deck.
Warming up at Perisher, cooling down at Baw Baw.
