North end of the NSW mountains are socked in tonight, south not so much
Just my observation driving across the paddock at home this afternoon. Mild temps and no wind.
Mild af in jindy.

Seems to me Mt Hotham has a huge problem.

Light rain in Melbourne City for the past hour or so, very mild.
It was full over cast at falls today. By 3pm there was some slight drizzle. Was practically dry on the drive back to Melbourne. Raining now in Brunswick
Get the life rafts ready....
Almost 20mmrain at Mt Buller since arvo tea!
Warm but still dry at Perisher according to the AWS.
Just woke up in a sweat and wondered why, looked at the current temp in Melbourne and it's 15c at 5:30am. Really warm night for this time of the year. Hasn't dropped below 14c all night so far
Few mm in the gauge at perisher o/nite, but nothing devastating just yet. I imagine the exodus may start a little early today though... friends who drove back yesterday say the traffic was pretty bad for a sunday.
Hammering down here on the Peninsula. Nice to lay in bed and listen to.
Feels warm though
Heavy rain all night and still going at Mount Beauty. Going to light a fire and enjoy doing nothing today.
Vicco resorts have copped it overnight and this morning. NSW resorts relatively unscathed but that's about to change. Time to watch some Netflix.
It has been raining all night at Buller.
Most of the open mountain is on windhold.
Uncomfortably warm night in the Dandenongs too. Too warm for winter doona sleeping. Temps hovered around 11 - 12c all night. Has now dropped to 9c. 10.4mm rain. Just seen pics of pretty valley at Perisher on fb - not a pretty sight today
Patiently we will wait to see what later in the week has to offer.
Sideways rain just started here in town. (Jindy)
Any point hanging around today (perisher)? Can ski in drizzle not sideways pouring.
Vic decimated esp Buller & Baw Baw, only snowmaking left.
Still, normally nothing an the ground this time of year. Unless exceptionally early season, I generally don't look to get up there till mid to late July. Trigger for me is either/both of Summit/Southside being open (Buller).
Just need those Highs to bugger off and head north a bit in the next few weeks.
It was 12 deg at 7am in Narby. Summer temps.
Now teaming sideways rain. Not good.
Dare i say almost sleet on High Noon.
Looking at the live stream, I agree
Camped out at mount kosi tourist park last two nights.
Rained middle of the night hard for 20 mins or so nothing until 30 mins ago when started raining looks socked in now driving down to jindy (snow is shining )
Thredbo - snow was pretty good considering time of year. Took a little walk up under the rope at eagles nest to the top t bar which was closed but found fresh and rode pretty well back through the trees under the old lift. Still needs a good 50cm to fill in. What’s lots of obstacles and BIG holes off piste.
Don’t know what all the hypes about, beautiful up here at Buller
Raining sideways now at Jindy
Who is for tubing?
Jindy exodus. Traffic jam in town. Coffee shops are getting hammered....overcast, windy and circa 10 degrees.
Almost sleeting briefly at the top of Bourke Street. Cover is pretty much gone on the upper mountain. I reckon Bourke St will look like QBW last year after Wednesday.
Tourists are being flushed out of them there hills!
Mt Bulla has notched up 4mm in the last two hours?
Looking at Blue Cow live cam, observing mostly rain but the odd sleet as well. One thing for certain, it sure is blowing up there.
It a tad damp and breezy at Hill Top
Wintery mix on High Noon.
Snowing nicely on the basin cam. Looks to be sleety and even snowy all the way down to Friday Flat
Well Thredbo Top Station tells the story ...almost 2degs Celsius
Rainfall figures just below 20mm in a few spots
Them Mexican Bears become intolerable in the windy wet conditions as are currently being experienced in the alps...
Mild in Sydney today. Very pleasant and I'm enjoying the milder weather wanting winter back...

I observe you were very quick to delete those posts...
I observe that having left jindy it’s a warm sunny 13 degrees just outside of Cooma. I also observe that several car crashes are slowing the journey considerably.
It’s not accidents, just snow traffic.
