Doesn't take much for the Werribee to flood; not that it's catchment ever gets very much!.
The Kiewa has a minor flood warning too.

It’s been trying in PV. Some intermittent wet snow flakes mixed with sleet. Currently wet snow falling at car park level.

    Ummm ten minutes later....

Definitely colder in the paddock today, the breeze has a bite to it. Mountains are socked in and it looks promising

    That’s poetic....I like that summation.

As Team Bears noted ....not a night for rapid movement down in metro Melb.
Bears hiding in Servo and binge eating till a suitable window opens in the traffic?
Oh....weather obs...rain now light.cold wet miserable evening...new windscreen wiper rubbers getting a work out tonight.Air Temp ...approx 12deg or so....But we are guessing!
The Monaro has to be better than Westgate Freeway....commuting is a joke...so we will stay inservo for now !

I did once, having some disagreements with local parrots & my fruit trees.

Even a small calibre pirate pistol was surprisingly loud in a town setting. Used during a thunderstorm, even with all the 'background' noise, I still clearly heard my neighbour hit the roof of his loungeroom screaming "WHAT THE **** WAS THAT?"

There's life coming on the radar. But the cold pool has passed and the temps are rising. I fear it will be liquid snow.

    134mm what location r we?
It was always on the cards that the temp would kick back up and heavy rain would take out this initial base from Vicco...it’s so early in winter.....just unpredictable time early June based on previous personal obs.We have only strung two weeks together of colder weather so far over last two months and folk are jumping up and down in the ski industry!
