Well, what an interesting year. We had our last day for the lifts in Hakuba on Sunday due to the big C. I hadn't been out of the valley for a month and that was a 5am Nagano run for an escaping Singapore resident. Although I have rode most days since the end of Feb with some exceptional sessions I just felt I had some unfinished business so took on a little solo road trip over to Shiga which got a good dump on Monday (probably 30 cms). Okushiga area didn't open due to high winds so headed over there. Fresh tracks for the whole morning on every run I did. Hardly any one there. Straight onto every lift and gondie. Fun day to hang up the season with. Time to pack it all up, wash all the kit, wax the quiver and look into the crystal ball. Good luck with the aussie season everyone. May all the lifts turn.
