Late September skiing in Austria: with pics!

past weekend at the Stubaier Glacier (Tirol-Austria)

as you see the snow conditions are quite great and in the past dasy it has snowed again. In the Bundesland Salzburg was the snowlevel around 800-900 m !

So the shots from Stubai:

We are due the first decent snowfall of the year tomorrow in Southern Norway. 25-30cm of snow above 900m is expected!

We might even see a dusting on the hills around Oslo

Ok... sorry, of the "season" 2008 / 2009 ... you know what I mean

We actually got quite a bit of snow on May 17th this year which was somewhat odd.

Yeah, thanks for the post, Stani. I am getting excited! Am off to Hintertux in about 3 weeks, which is also looking good. It now has 105cm with the 50cm yesterday. Promise to post with pics.
