Yep FB, the groomers do a great job.

And I can confirm we are opening Skyline and Wombat to mid-load on Friday. Looking fantastic for snowmaking too, so enjoy it if you're heading up this weekend.

Hey Dave, will the lift ticket prices change once Wombat is opened? How long before Howqua opens?

    Hey Dave,

Have they started snowmaking on Burnt Hut or Emirates?
Didn't they install automatic snowmaking on Emirates last year?

Alrite Dave! That's what I want to hear!

Now I really have a reason to go skiing even though I have several uni exams next week.

Oh well. We all have priorities!

Wow super cold last night. The snowmakers have bumped our average manmade depth to 45cm!

I guess prices will change accordingly on the weekend, but I can't tell you more until the boss gets in.

As of today Little Buller Spur, Wombat and Skyine will open for the first time and Buller are no longer advertising discounted lift tickets so i'm assuming it's now full price.... [IMG] ...but hey at least more of the mountain is being opened up

Tickets are still $46 for adults and $25 for kids today. Tomorrow's price is not yet confirmed, but it will change.

Not very good value this week - 8 lifts for $92. Makes one think that this weekend's skiers are subsidising Mid-August skiers when 20+ lifts (*0%+ terrain) are open.

Last week there was five for $46 and the summit only for blue + skiers and yep it was good fun. [IMG]

    A strange way of luring timid & well-burnt 05' & 06' skiers IMHO. [IMG]

subsidising , or making sure they dont go broke so you dont have to walk up the hills snowgum .
I suspect if you look a little deeper , the cost of running the resorts in june , particularly with snowmaking and few paying customers means probable losses for that month.
