I'm going up to Falls for one last ski trip this weekend. Unsure which skis to bring so looking for some help from people more familiar with the mountain. Is the snow likely to still be soft by then (wider twin tips) or somewhat frozen (regular skis)?

My guess is that it won't have a chance to melt before saturday so not frozen, but there might be some wind scour. But with some sun on sat if could be crusty on sun am, but not necessarily. It's such a fine line

Haha busted. It's not like the runs are that long so I should be able to muddle through even if it's firm. Thanks all for the advice.

If going North side I'd suggest the wider planks. It gets soft very early. Like everywhere else in spring, you've got to beat the sun and plan your day.
