Lodge membership Perisher

Hi guys, Looking for some information on lodge membership in Perisher.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children.

My self 35y
Wife: 33y
Daughter 3y
Son 10months

We are Wondering what might be the best lodges in Perisher for our young family to try and become members of.

Looking for one that provides breakfast & dinner included in the stay.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure on availability ( they where open for membership early this year ) but The Lodge at Smiggs fits the pic.

Have stayed many times .
Perrfect.

http://www.sasc-aus.com Kahane is the Perisher lodge. You will need to be referred by two current members. It's low cost, <$100/year for basic family club membership that can be upgraded for ~$10,000 to "lodge" membership with some preferential opportunities for bookings and lower nighty rates. SASC has lodges in Perisher, Thredbo and Charlotte Pass (and affiliations with AAC and others). All lodges are fully catered over peak snow period. Only downside is a large number of members that can book out school holidays etc.

Just be sure to check the booking policy carefully. Scuttlebutt has it that one or two lodges have fallen into the trap of favouring old established members booking requests over newer members during peak demand times. Sorry, don't know which ones, so just keep your eyes open.

Also maybe try SLOPES (www.slopes.org.au). They may be able to point you at lodges taking new members.

The SASC does sound good.
They do have a large member base.
I wonder how hard it is to get the times you want only as a base member and not a full member

If you want true ski in ski out - Nth P villiage area is the go. Some nice little lodges scattered in and around there. Maybe get a list of such and look up each one and see what's possible. Some are commercial but many are old club lodges. Plus Smigs can be a surprise with overnite parking options.
