Any recommendation which snow gear shop has a good boot fitter, looking to either buy a on-market insole or custom made one?

    Snowbiz or Snowcentral?

    Thanks

I would go to Snowcentral Keppera. The daughter of the shop owner Greta Bishop is a good master-fit boot-fitter, hence the insistence on proper training for anyone who works there.

This. Greta fit my first ski boots around 15 years ago. Always went there when we lived in Brisbane.

Is Greta back? I thought she left quite a few years ago.

Greta seems to come back around November (or so) and they do a huge boot fitting weekend. You just need to book in to see her. She has been around or the last 2 years at that time of year.

Thanks everyone, it's really a last minute thing as we are departing for Japan on Monday.
We are on the south side, so booked in with the Underwood Snowcentral store.
Asked snowbiz as well but Scotty, only Master fitter there is in Japan, haha, even though they are cheaper, but no other choice for us.

Last minute advise, does it really worth the $189 to get a custom footbed??
Or a $60 Sidas pre made footbed would do the job equally well.

Footbeds are just one part of the fitting process. But definitely required.
