Apart from some clouds and occasional showers on Saturday
we should see plenty of sun over the next week.

Brisk morning in the city, down to 4c with some fog about. Cracking morning and will be a beautiful day once we get some heat into it

A bit of fog over the Eastern freeway in Kew around 6am. Seemed to burn off quickly.
Another great day out there now.

Chilly night in Ballarat, got down to -1c in the early hours. No frost that I could see when getting to at 8, a balmy 1c now.

Plenty of cloud so it'll be a chilly day no doubt.

Chilly in Ballarat again. Top of 9 forecast.

We did a "ghost tour" of the Aradale Mental Hospital last night just out of Ararat - cold as heck to be walking around but well worth it. Hit a roo on the way home, no damage that I can see (thank goodness) however the bloody car stinks of an exploded roo digestive system :puke:

Not pleasant. I am unfortunately familiar with that smell too. Glad your car is ok!

It was -3 (car temp) at 8:30 this morning in Narbethong! Brrrr. Got to the shop and the temp inside was +4. Turned heating on before I even thought of opening the shop.
Oh - and I stink this morning. Water pipes frozen at home, so no shower. No idea what the minimum temp was.

Not as cold as I expected in B'rat overnight. Down to 1c & looking like a lovely day now.

Yesterday was miserable, barely touched 9c and was around 7 or 8 with a bit of a breeze for much of the day. The walk around the lake wasn't much fun.

My 3 hour run at macedon was lovely but kinda tough (1,2,3 degrees windy muddy drizzly) and the MIL, partner and kids who came out for the bbq got a pretty quick bbq!!

Same here. Had just nudged 1c when I took the kids to school. Almost 2c now. First time this year I’ve had to properly de-ice the car. Bright sunshine here but thick fog down the road in Macclesfield. Plenty of cars driving invisible with no lights on!

I notice I'm wearing gloves more on morning walks to keep fingers from freezing. Have bought some very warm gloves for anticipated snow camping this year. Hate cold hands.

Was a tad nippy on the bike. A bit of fog over the eastern in Kew, but much lighter than yesterday.

Slightly warmer morning today. The hollows were plenty cold, but the tops of hills were much warmer, so a low inversion in effect. Looks like a corker out there today.

DAMAGING WINDS, with peak gusts of around 90 km/h are possible about elevated areas of western Victoria from Late Saturday morning, extending to central parts during the afternoon and eastern parts in the evening.

Damaging wind gusts may extend further east into the Alpine area later at night on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Winds will ease behind a cold front which will reach the west of the State in the late afternoon/early evening and move east overnight.

Locations which may be affected include Kyneton, Mt Baw Baw, Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Mt Buller.

Quite warm this morning. Back in shorts for the morning ride.
Wind getting up but not too bad at this stage. Doesn't look like any morning sun today.
