Very thin cover, not enough to ski on and not enough to pay 58 clams to rock hop on.

Ride was dry for the first 20, then it rained solidly for 40 minutes through Kew and into Richmond.
It's still murky, but not too cold.

Definitely a warmer start to the day at least, but still yuck out there. Had a fair bit of drizzle yesterday and pretty much a repeat today!

Overcast and drizzling again this morning. Was a surprisingly nice afternoon yesterday.

No drizzle here in Canterbury or for the inner eastern ride. Still quite mild this morning, okay in shorts on the bike again.
Still cloudy, but it's looking like it will break up during the day.

Drizzle gone. Sun poking its head out here and there. Still 11c but agree it is quite pleasant out today. Some real dark clouds hanging around to the east.

Some light drizzle through Kew this morning which came from nowhere. Clear on the start and end of the ride, and the sun is well and truly out now.

Had to go through Kew and up to the inner North around 10 ish this morning and back not too long after. Very sunny to start, then hit a fog layer going over the hill and thick over the Chandler/river/freeway section then cleared again. Still quite thick on the way back. Still getting to know all the contours and geography but seemed a little odd

Logs were steaming this arvo up at Mt Margaret ....so the sun had a little clout for this time of year. But lots of frost heave on the ground till lunch.....so last night must have git well below zero in the mountains.

-2.2c here in Woodend last night , a sunny high of 8.9c and currently down to 2.1c which is way ahead of last night at same time so could be interesting.

    Another chilly pea-souper this morning.

After gilding the moon with burnished gold in the wee hours of this morning, Jack Frost took some further liberties and scribbled over our glass top table!

Outer northeast Melbourne, fog has lifted much earlier than yesterday and it's a clear sunny gorgeous day.

@Jellybeans , we drove across that bridge over Bonnie Doon a few weeks back and were surprised to see it almost empty. Good to see they've filled it a lot since.

-3.2c last night at my place in Woodend, a bit of breeze came up around midnight and temp went back up to 0.3c or so might have cost us a little bit on the minimum front. Now had 14 days this month with a negative temp at some part of the 24hr period.

A different start to the day. Went to bed and it was freezing and woke to warm (9c) and windy. Nice to have a warmer day.
Up around Cambarville on the Marysville-woods point rd yesterday it was still icy around 3pm.

    Strange sort of morning.
8C on my weather station, but riding through Kew and Richmond it was highly variable. Some spots easily as cold as yesterday (mostly the hollows) and not 500m further on 5-10C warmer.
The wind has really picked up now, lots of sunshine. Looks like cloud build in the NW though.

June 2020 near Bendigo had slightly warmer than average daytime mean max temps, but colder daily mean min (lots of frosts).

Only 35mm of rain which is dry for June (average is 55mm).

The roads were a little damp at 6am, so obviously a little rain.
Still quite mild, around 10C. Winds seem to be easing up and the cloud has burnt off now.
