Not much from last nights showers.
Cooler but dry start to the day though.
Radar showing showers not far off.
Was nice on the morning ride - city/St Kilda, roads were dry. Thought based on radar around 6 that we might have seen some wet by now
Nice sunrise, mild and a little breeze. Grey and gusty now
Light rain here in Canterbury.
Most of it is passing south of the city as it sweeps in from the west. It's gradually pushing north, afternoon promises to be wet.
Persistent rain now for over an hour here in Elwood. Not pouring, just persistent drizzle. Feels cold - my walk to the bakery for a pie was very chilly.
Rain heading this way according to the BOM radar.
6C currently and rain at those temps mean SNOW.
Wind suddenly picked up and heavier rain now in Elwood.
Snowing on Mt Margaret Rd at Boundary Track and it’s accumulating.....wet snow big flakes at gap but not settling.Team Bears frozen ....we are out of here!Boundary Trail has cover end to end atm......it’s been snowing all arvo.
Team Bears snow cam from Mt M Gap
Cool, slightly damp morning, the drizzle has built up this afternoon, quite dark and wet here in Canterbury.
Was a nice afternoon at Cape Schanck.
Damp up here most of the day too. Almost 5mm of drizzle since 9am. Bit warmer than yesterday.
Light rain pretty much hasn't stopped since 5pm.
Pretty miserable out this morning.
Had a few breaks from the drizzle this morning but it seems to be settling back in again.
Another drizzly, cool morning.
Seems to be clearing now.
Better now with more sun shining in Sunburyland.
Still murky here in the east.
Same morning as yesterday. As the day before. Maybe even the day before that ...
Dreary in the city. Went for a walk at lunch and caught the drizzle. Surprisingly not overly cold even though it was showing 10c at the time.
*Edit: must add, this was the first time I've walked into the city in a long long time and it was deader than I've ever seen it. Worse than full lockdown months ago. I think I may have passed 4 people
Gone from semi-dry to quite damp in the last hour here in Canterbury.
Yes CC, we can get precipitation when it’s mild it’s just when it’s cold it turns dry.
Slightly Damp in Mentone (SE Mel) this PM - just annoying mizzle.
That's a depressing view unless you've got a fire a roaring away, a bottle of red and cheese and biscuits.
Got away last week up to Narooma NSW. This is the view for 3 hours from Orbost to Eden and then again approaching Cobargo, and that's only a small part of the impacted area. Unbelievable the extent of the fires. Most areas starting to green up now.
Actually had a mostly dry day up here for a change. A few patches of sun before lunch, otherwise quite grey. Had a walk out near Healesville after lunch.
still a long road to recovery
Cracking sunrise for our first day of our second lockdown
Clear and still a bit crisp around Emerald, still 4c. Deadly quiet out.
Lovely day out there.
Finally a decent day to get some washing dry(ish).
Quite brisk this morning, but a very nice day following.
A mild morning with a lacklustre sunrise - annoying as I decided to ride around St Kilda for my daily exercise in the hope of capturing something like yesterday's sunrise!
Some solid rain moving down off the ranges into metro Melbourne. Wonder if it will hold any intensity as it comes down. Doesn't look it for now.
Keen to go out and do some exercise so hopefully it holds off for a few hours.
Looks pretty wo full outside..cold and damp....the weather matches the mood of poor Melb atm.
Can we make sitting in the sun having a coffee an essential task as this lock down continues !
Fairly cool first up, rain arrived around 8am on the ride back up the bay. It's been dribbling all morning since.
Still, enjoyed getting out there for a few hours and the rain kept the punters away.
Cc has seen more folk on his bike ride than appear on the snow cam....looks socked in at Bulla?
Dreary in Melbourne tonight. Consistent light rain pretty much the entire day & hovering around 10c. The perfect night to be staying indoors
Threatened rain all day but really didn't start until early afternoon. Late arvo I donned the goretex and went for a 6km wander. Quite enjoy walking through our local tall timber in steady rain
Weatherzone seems to think next Saturday is going to be rather cold in Melbourne....
Maybe a little roller blade before things turn....yesterday spent whole day in living room....radar looks ok at moment for metro Melbourne ....where is CC’s bike riding weather report?
Wow zero for Melbourne! Now that would be interesting
My folks have had 47mm from this system in Seymour. Got a couple of inches of water covering much of their block.
Sounds like it's going to be clear sky to get down to those temps.
Roads were wet this morning and foggy early. But nice mild morning. Has clearly been plenty of rain, anything dirt was a bit sloppy. Went out toward diamond creek and back
Cool, a little misty to start with, roads wet, but no rain.
Actually really nice down the coast. Winds from the SE means the rain was being dumped before it got to the city.
Even had a little sunshine on the way back through black-rock, didn't that bring out the hoards of walkers and cyclists.
Looks like a dry week coming up. Nothing much in the way of moisture.
Looked at the radar around midday and it looked like it was closing in on us so headed out for a run around Gembrook. Still dry here. All snaking slightly north of us. Couldn’t see Donna Buang.
