Ha! I just read 'airlines' instead of 'airliners' and compiled a long list of all airlines I ever flew with. Useless
I’d be able to participate in that one. I can recall most airlines I’ve flown - especially the “dodgy brothers” ones! The actual aircraft - very little recollection.
Airlines: Vueling, Alitalia, Lufthansa, KLM, LOT, SAS, Norwegian Air Shuttle, British Airways, Singapore, Emirates, Etihad,, Ansett, TAA, Virgin (Blue and Australia), Qantas, Air NZ. Airports: Visby, Stockholm-Arlanda, Budapest, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Venice, Rome, Vienna, Frankfurt, London-Heathrow, London-Gatwick. Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bombay, Singapore, Hobart, Launceston, Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney-Mascot, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne-Tullamarine and Wynyard. EDIT. Added Amsterdam, I forgot about that one.
FPSO Ningaloo Vision. Flew off yesterday, 6 days on board. Timing was good as Cyclone is heading directly for it.
Ahh you were only about 50km away from my current onshore project ( though I’m Perth based). FPSOs are clever tech
My list isn't particularly long and I tend to only take notice of smaller planes (do they even qualify as airliners?); de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter Embraer EMB110 Douglas DC3 "Gooney Bird" ...a lot of fun with a group. definitely not airliners were the Mustang VH-BOB joy flight from Pt Cook (which probably used the same amount of fuel as an airliner), and Tiger Moth out of Lilydale
Well ive been on quite a few , so heres my list of the planes that ive flown on but would rather not have. DC 10, Md-11 , 727, Metroliner, 757 ,
Ok, better late than never Only had the time to compile the airlines: Air Canada, Air France, Air New Zealand, Austrian, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Czech Airlines, Delta, Emirates, Garuda Indonesia, Japan Airlines, Jetstar, KLM, Lufthansa, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Ryanair, Singapore Airlines, SWISS, THAI, Turkish Airlines, United, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Australia.
Sehr intressant... Unlikely anything funky here but the 767 was as recent as this year and it had wifi! Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777, 787 Airbus 320, 330, 340 Bombardier CRJ900 De Havilland dash-8 Cessna 172 2x Heli (unsure if operators still use but going on current website listing): Ecureuil B 3 plus, AS 350 Squirrel
It’s amazing what you can find on Ski.com.au when you go digging. Anyway, I haven’t flown on anything too interesting; Airbus: 319, 320, 321, 332, 333, 359, 388 Boeing: 717, 73G, 738, 744, 74E, 763, 77L, 77W, 789 Bombardier: CR9, DH4 De Havilland Canada: DH2, DH4 Embraer: E75, E90
I think this is my complete list. The Boeing and Airbus are multiple models within the classes. There may be puddle jumpers I've missed. And I've not kept track of the seaplanes or whirlybirds: B717 B727 B737 B747 B757 B767 B777 B787; A319 A320 A321 A330 A340 A350 A380; FOKKER 27 FOKKER 100; DC10 MD11 MD81 MD90; E140 E145 E175 E190; CRJ700; CESSNA; DASH8 This is a combination of leisure and business travel since 1977, when I took my first flight in a fixed wing aircraft.
