Mount Buller and Mount Stirling Alpine Resort Management Board Annual Report 2019 https://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/f...ement_Board_-_Annual_Report_2019_MKZDnFWR.pdf
I gave up after reading this piece of revisionist history on page 4 - "Active queue management under marquees helped largely eliminate the chronic afternoon queues in the Village Square from past years."
Yep on the few occasions I had the misfortune to be in the village square on a weekend afternoon, no doubt incentivised by a donut, I saw plenty of queues up the wazoo.
The queues although quite long at times after the initial month or so, moved quickly, we took notes on groups near the back and timed how long before they got to the bus. Even a very long queue would be around 15 minute wait. You are loading 3 buses in parallel, 80 per bus in around 5 minutes.
They definitely got a handle on it late in the season and started doing a great job with what is an incredibly difficult logistical exercise. But to suggest it was better than previous years in the exec summary is utter fantasy. It was way, way worse until pretty late in the season.
didnt they move the Mirimbah Park snow play express pick up point to outside the RMB building last year?
and therefore the queue for the carpark shuttle was shorter , same amount of people, just seperated into 2 areas
