Could today, someone in the know ask someone from the whose who as to what extra trails and lifts are being proposed to open tomorrow, assuming at least a little extra snow?
Don't want to spend the day looking at people's helmets at the bottom of LBS.

Summit, Howqua, Koflers, Wombat, Mercedes-Benz all on wind hold at the moment (being reassessed ever 1/2hr) so they're trying to get Bull Run open this morning.

Bull Run OPEN. Suggest dropping down the stub of The Avenue.

Got a great few laps in Bull Run, I was about 3rd down Wood Run, wind blown snow really accumulating but scoured in other spots. Should continue through the day.

Ski Patrol gauges reporting 21cm ave overnight. Bit different to the marketing gauge of 9cm! o_O

    21 seems about right.

We still need quite a lot more snow.

Is this marketing strategy to reduce visitors to Buller? I can totally support this :p:p

Yeah and I like the Sat night precip numbers on Yr. We really need 2 feet but a foot will make a difference and I reckon we will get it.

Probably too much wind to open Southside right now but there’s enough snow for it to be open.

Next time I am up at Buller, I think I will be putting a polite note into the 'Suggestions' box suggesting a new Integrated Unified Snow Reporting System. :p

Also I think some of the nicest snow I skied this morning was on Skyline funnily enough. Heading back out for a poke around. I have a feeling that late this arvo could be good.

Hey Dave - any chance you could put a request in to get the burnt hut, village and bluff view* cams cleaned? Us cam watchers only really have LBS and bourke st cams to see how things build up during the storm.

    * not particularly fussed about bluff view, its always blocked and kinda useless anyway!

Yeah Southside could have opened today except for the wind.

Just had some nice runs around Chamois and Cow Camp and am trying the BBQ at Spurs.

Thank you for all the reports to all up there at the moment:)

I’m coming up for a 4 day weekend. With high and gusty winds, I mentioned to the partner yesterday that my concern driving up would be through the Black Spur. Then today this happened. Hoping everyone takes care on the roads and stays safe.

I had a feed there a few weeks ago. Food was pretty good, but the portion size wasn't huge and the price was pretty astronomical, even by Buller standards.

Yeah it’s a bit of a one off as we can’t get to Koflers, price is certainly up there, but nice to see some innovation.
