Yes Vince And Stretch. I though an approved template should be written for anyone posting to the Mt Buller Trip and conditions forum due the sensitivity of reporting on certain areas especially in fresh snow conditions . Sticking to Bourke St will always safe. Read below as a perfect forum post:
    :

"We had a fabulous time at Mt Buller this weekend. Powder snow fell from the heavens. Oh and Bourke st was an absolute hoot. Myself and my friend did stem christie turns all the way down Bourke st. Oh watch it boarder, you almost collided with me! Oh not to worry, i've got a spare leg anyway.
We were advised to ride up Mercedes lift and make our way to Tirol Cafe. Delicious food , and we out again on the slopes, fully nourished some 2.5 hrs later. Then it was on to gliders carpet ..our little secret. Don't tell anyone.
I simply can not wait to get back to the slopes of Mt Buller. Next time it's the Bonza lift."

So I guess it's a bit like Fight Club, and if you're asking for a password I guess you're not part of the club.

Calm down! At the least the fog is preserving the snow.

Final day of 4, so let’s see if I’ve got this reporting business correct.

Being my last day, I stuck to Bourke St**. hardly anyone around as you can see on my photos.

Each line I skied on Bourke St** was packed, soft snow. Light fog which was heavier up high as @LiveToSki wrote above, so I stayed on Bourke St** where it didn’t hinder visibility.

Had lunch, think it could have been Spurs but not exactly sure, but the nachos and apple pie were great. My photos below are all from Bourke St**

** May have been slightly above, below, or either side of Bourke St.

I don't get to tell this story very often @CarveMan I was a young teenager in the late 80's. At the lodge up Stirling and the oldies were on the turps. Young me didn't have many or any mates here as dad didn't like school holidays so we always had a week off school before the break between what was term 2 and 3. We played. Always followed the rules; stay away from roofs etc. White out follow the lift line etc. I owned the place. Anyway. I wanted a coke and none was available. I said no problems I will go to the supermarket (George's?) He said it will be shut but knock yourself out. I went and it was shut. On my way back I dropped in to the HooHa. I always asked for a pot of coke because why do these old bastards get to drink big drinks when I usually get a glass? So in a noisy room I ordered a "pot of coke" Low and behold if a pot of Carlton was not put in front of me. (13/14yo?) I swallowed my tongue, handed over the money, sculled my beer and ran back to the lodge. I told them all what had happened. They laughed. Was strange. Will never forget it. I was a pretty young looking teenager too. Wish I was up there. Good week for it this season.

Hooha used to get shut down for underage drinking on a weekly basis, so this does not surprise me.

I went into my first ski race at age 6, and I won a prize, a huge** cup, which I still have. I was so proud I showed
the guy at the pub, where the presentation happened. He looked at it, filled it with beer and handed it back
to me. Maybe the first and last time I didn't finish a beer... hey, I was 6.

** about the size of a pot, but was a lot more then a slip of dads beer.

We have some amazing stories in Oz ski fields. Along with the legendary Falls Creek underground glacier which some of you know about, there is the rare but dedicated grooming of Zwiers zig zag. They ought to write a book about it.

    Vaguely related story:
Does anyone if Grimus was groomed on Sunday night?

I ask as it was skiing nicely in dryish fresh Sunday, just the viz made things tricky.

Monday viz was a bit better but thought it was pretty ord Monday early pm. (Half frozen small crests).

Maybe I was spoilt by other runs?
    Was a cracker 2 days anyway - Top-Bottom on Bull Run & Tyrol. ( :- )

Correct. Fed can open with Whiskey Ck ATM on demand. Lower Fed bowl pretty much the only spot that doesn't have enough cover right now though. Big boulders to cover up.

Nice try but Gliders was closed due to too much snow! LOL

Oh and sending them to Tirol? I thought that was on the same level as a map to Hangman's?

Went up on Tuesday with some mates and had an absolute blast. Skied around Chamois for the first time which was completely devoid of people, and hit some of the new tree areas off Bonza.

My only complaint continues to be the buller website. @Dave Clark, I really wish you guys wouldn't make it harder for me to give you money. I'm also really not a fan of how it remembered my credit card details without permission, and provides no method I can see to allow me to delete that stored data.

Well we never said the gliders carpet actually moved. After standing on the somewhat buried carpet area for some 10 minutes, and detecting no movement whatsoever, we thought, "Well lets walk up the slope!" And then we skied the deep powder in the gliders carpet area all to ourselves. " So much for our secret run ! Now everyone knows.
As for Hangman's that is not somewhere I can find on a trail map. I believe you must be mistaking it for somewhere at Mt Hotham, dear sir. **
