It's not the fluffiest, driest stuff I've seen at Buller but it's dry enough for the wind to move it into some interesting places by tomorrow morning.

I think the steps are safe for tonight because the wind is coming from SW.

Yup, a good part of it. It still has some westerly in it so I wouldn't discount Southside or Bourke Street. The latter will be going off.

I note someone at the resort had a brain fade and mounted a table & chairs just above the stairs seen in the village square cam. Isn't this walkway busy enough with artificial clogging?

    Looks nice.
But still the same as it was at 11:30 last night and from APIRA roof looks like a lot of wind has blown that in.
I think Ill wait it out, with the low temps its probably not going anywhere.

I would not be unhappy if I were there today - if you can stay out of the wind it will be freshies all day.

Looking at the radar, show showers at least for most of the morning. It's quite windy, I'd estimate about 45-65km/h. Very cold. I think there will be places where the wind and falling snow will cover my tracks. I think I'll get breakfast and get ready to head out... The visibility might actually be not too bad. It's not the usual Buller thick soup.

Contrary to the opinion here, I found Saturday to be great fun. Maybe boarding helps for that heavier jazz

No you don't mate. Infected with man flu. Was all geared up till Saturday afternoon when my disease vector kids intervened. To rub salt into the wounds I got a message last night at 6:30 that one of my team members has tonsillitis and not in today so I've had to drag my sorry arse into work. ****ing cooked.

    Looks ****ing good up there...

Caught up with @CarveMan +1 for a few off Southside chair. Hit some deep spots in the trees.
