Friend of mine just arrived up at the village for the weekend... let’s say he wasn’t expecting to be driving up in the snow!
My thermometer is reading 2.3C, I reckon I get a degree of heat dissipation from the building, I need to get one of these: https://www.ecowitt.com/shop/goodsDetail/24
Bloody Hell is almost unskiable now. Summer grooming a disgrace for the last 15 years. Needs Team Bears up there with a few chainsaws.
Sadly page 52 of this shows how Bloody Hell is considered from a vegetation perspective: https://dc0b3a3e-6027-4943-8bb4-858...d/b19fc4_d41c921ea3764c6fa26341a4ce79f6d5.pdf
I am ok with the environmental stuff (even though most of the possums prefer lodges) but take Bloody Hell off the trail map cos as it stands probably need 2m of snow to be skiable!
Dont need to read that to boil down the plan in a short sentence "Bring more possums from Hotham to Buller" Someone should call the RSPCA on them, Buller isn't the natural habitat of the Possum, those Hotham ones will just starve to death there and produce runt litters that will fall prey to Birds etc, it's just animal cruelty.
