Hi Guys - first post as I'm pretty fresh to the Aussie snow!

We're heading down tonight and don't want to line up for the parks pass in the morning. Last year, the fine was the same as a pass to get in, is this still the case?

yes it is a reminder notice, not a fine. You can pay at Jindy in the afternoon.

Buy it online now and stick the receipt on your window, don't know....
I renew mine in Spring at the booths when it's quiet.

Just park at the top end of Smiggins car park and cover your windscreen with heaps of snow.

Get up early enough and you won't wait longer than a minute or two to get your pass from the booth. Bonus good park/freshies if super early?

You can also by a day entry pass at the Snowy Region Visitor Centre in Jindabyne.
They open at 8:30am though. (The cafe opens at 6:30)
An annual pass can be purchased online for $190 - probably not value for money if you are there for a few days only.
And you can't use the annual pass bought online immediately. (They post it to you).

If you purchase online you can print out the receipt and use that in your car until you receive the sticker.
